Aircelle at Morocco’s 2010 Aeroexpo Marrakesh aerospace show

January 30, 2010

Aircelle and its Aircelle Morocco subsidiary were present at the Aeroexpo Marrakesh 2010 aerospace industry show, which was held January 27-30 at Menara Airport.

This event enabled Aircelle to highlight its competence and know-how as a top-level nacelle provider, and provided an opportunity for company managers to meet with customers and partners from the African/Mediterranean region.

In particular, the activities of Aircelle Morocco were spotlighted at Aeroexpo Marrakesh 2010 – showing the expertise acquired by this newest production unit of Aircelle, which now has a workforce of nearly 300 people. Aircelle’s participation on the exhibit stand of its Safran parent company included the display of an Aircelle Morocco-built reverser for the BR710 engine (which powers the Gulfstream 500/550 and Bombardier Global Express business jets), along with a thrust reverser door for CFM56 engines used on the Airbus A320 jetliner.
