Aircelle is a major subsidiary of the SAFRAN Group’s aircraft equipment branch. It is the European leader in the nacelle market and serves as the SAFRAN Group’s composite center of excellence.

The SAFRAN Group has 14 companies on the European, American, African and Asian continents, and it ranks as one of the world’s leading manufacturers of aircraft engines and components, landing gear, brakes, aerostructures, nacelles, thrust reversers, power transmissions and space propulsion.

Consolidated sales of the SAFRAN Group in 2007 equaled 12 billion euros, of which 26 percent was generated by the equipment branch.
